Los Angeles Review of Books carries story referencing PBB and DDT in St. Louis

On June 17, 2022, the Los Angeles Review of Books published a story by Rebecca Altman that includes discussion of the DDT and PBB contamination in St. Louis, Michigan and the Pine River Superfund Task Force’s work to understand the human health dimension of the contamination. As described in the review linked below, Dr. Altan attended the 2016 Intergenerational Risk Conference held at Alma College in 2016, She also is a board member of the Science and Environmental Health Network that has played a major role in promoting understanding of the precautionary principle.
