Correspondence and Communication - Brittany Fremion, Chairperson
· Gary Smith and Brittany Fremion will prepare the FPS TAG Report for Quarter 1 2024 for EPA Region 5 at the end of the month.
· Recent articles on Michigan CAFO runoff regulations and manure (liquid methane) conversion in Circle of Blue.
· Michigan Public Radio story by Colin Jackson, “Bill that would restore EGLE’s rulemaking power advances in state Senate”
· 1939 advertisement for Natural Ray mineral water in St. Louis, Michigan shared with membership
· CAG secretary and founding member, Jane Jelenek, will speak with a CMU class about the Superfund cleanup next week (3/18)
· Update on CAG website and traffic – Ed Lorenz, Vice Chairperson
· Update on documentary film project featuring CAG – Colin Gray (TBD)
Program: Ed Lorenz will share insights from his participation in a Water Tribunal meeting in Valencia, Spain, and what the CAG might learn from the group.
