Re-establishment of the Superfund Tax !!

On November 15, President Biden signed into law the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act which Re-established the Superfund tax. The tax had supported a trust fund to pay for remediations, as along the Pine River, when the polluter had insufficient funds to pay. Congress had foolishly abolished the tax in 1995. Now, after more than a quarter century Congress has restored the tax. A great day for Superfund communities.
